Phin Bar is a Bay Area based event coffee catering company, that specializes in Vietnamese Coffee. It is the first of it’s kind to provide a unique experience as an event activation by serving drinks cocktail style—with every drink made to order, just how you like it. Think Happy Hour, at 9 in the morning.
Started in 2015 (as an MBA capstone project), by husband and wife duo—Paula and Hoang. We create all components that make our drinks such a unique experience, even our condensed milks. We use only the best, organic coffee beans for our base--sourced from our friends at Taylor Lane Coffee in Sonoma County.
What is a Phin?
Vietnamese Coffee or Cà Phê Sữa Da is made using a metal drip filter called Phin.
The drip is slow, especially when freshly-ground beans are packed tightly inside, and produces a very strong and aromatic coffee base for our drinks. It is then mixed with sweet, creamy condensed milk for a uniquely balanced (and very effective) drink. It is best served over ice.
